Languages
Editing Press Inc. translates between English and French, Canada’s official languages, for government ministries, public-sector institutions, and private organisations, and between English and dozens of other languages. Every translation is made and revised by human translators.
Our translation process is based on the CAN/CGSB-131.10 translation services standard and on ISO 17100.
Subject Areas and Quality Control
We translate legal, regulatory, medical, academic, engineering, and financial texts, and public policy communications. Each project is translated, edited, and then proofread independently. For each client we keep a glossary and a record of approved translations, so that terminology stays consistent from one project to the next.
Translations can be delivered in formats that meet the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and client material is handled in line with Ontario’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). We handle routine multilingual updates as well as urgent French and English releases.
